Ongoing Activity
The Governing Body forms the highest authority within the organization. The General Body & Governing Body consists mainly of development Practitioners from national and development organizations. Some members too have got their years of experience in the field of development as well as in social sector. Two women representatives from the client base are also included in the GB of BASK. Most of the GB members are drawn from the local areas and are motivated to work collectively for the development of the people. Further, it is laudable that such broad – based bodies have been set up, in order to advise and support the Secretary and its staff. As an organization BASK functions democratically and is being managed by its GB.
